Child trauma workshops in São Paulo and Campinas

Different challenges, but in the end the participants’ contributions saw us through:

At the Aldeias Infantis (Children’s SOS Villages) in Poa / São Paulo, about 25 social mothers and staff from different units mixed well in balancing case discussion and strategies in the context of their roles.

At the University of Campinas it was hard to turn away more than 60 participants but, despite the numbers, we managed several small group discussions, thanks for the self-discipline! Here the balance was between

NGO, social care, schools and child mental health services practitioners, so the focus moved more from practice to service issues.

We could see a great network emerging. A huge appreciation
